Start with what matters to you

You do not need to choose a treatment first.

Whether you want to discuss hormones, intimate discomfort, everyday habits or changes in your skin and body, the first step is understanding your needs. These pathways connect you with the right conversation—not a promise that one service will solve every concern.

Private women’s-health consultation

Discuss menopause, hormone-related concerns and intimate wellness with Dr. Nathalie McLaughlin. Medical assessment guides any prescribing or recommendation.

Pelvic floor & intimate care

Explore consultation pathways for leakage, dryness or discomfort. Appropriate assessment comes before treatment selection; pelvic floor physiotherapy or public medical care may be the better next step.

Nutrition, movement & menopause coaching

Build practical food, activity and lifestyle habits with Taryn, grounded in Madelaine’s whole-person philosophy. Coaching complements medical care; it does not replace it.

Skin & body planning

If skin or body treatments interest you, explore your options without pressure to change your appearance. Suitability and timing are assessed separately from medical and coaching needs. You can also explore skin and laser options.

Your stage of life matters

Different changes. Different starting points.

After pregnancy

Recovery, feeding, sleep and a changing routine can all shape what feels manageable. We take your healing and medical clearance into account. You are not expected to rush into treatment or “bounce back.”

Perimenopause & menopause

Changing routines, intimate comfort and hormone-related questions deserve an informed conversation. Private medical consultation and practical menopause coaching are distinct options that can complement each other.

The people behind your support

A shared philosophy. The right expertise for each step.

Madelaine founded Sparkle’s nutrition, fitness and behaviour approach. Her collaboration with Dr. Nathalie McLaughlin brought a women’s-health perspective, including hormones and menopause. Taryn carries that philosophy into caring, practical coaching. Their roles connect, while medical decisions and coaching remain clearly distinct.

One clear process

Tell us what changed. We will help you find the next step.

01 · Share your priorities

Use your own words. Tell us about your stage of life, concerns, goals and what you hope to understand.

02 · Choose the right appointment

We clarify whether you need a private medical consultation, coaching, a treatment assessment or care outside Sparkle’s scope.

03 · Make an informed choice

Your provider explains the options, limitations, timing and fees. A plan may include follow-up, another professional or no treatment at all.

Before your appointment, share your relevant health history, medications, supplements and any recent care. Tell us if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive or recently postpartum.

Private services & planning

Know your options before you commit.

Dr. McLaughlin’s Sparkle services are private. We do not provide treatment here for clinical issues that require care through New Brunswick’s public healthcare system; those needs belong with the appropriate public-care provider or referral pathway.

Medical consultations, coaching and aesthetic treatments are different services, with their own fees and eligibility. Contact us to confirm the appointment type, provider, price and any private-insurance receipt details before booking.

You can also review nutrition coaching options and pricing. A free coaching Discovery Call is not a private medical appointment.

When medical care comes first

Do not wait for a Sparkle appointment if you need medical care.

Seek urgent medical care for symptoms such as severe abdominal or pelvic pain, heavy bleeding, fever, chest pain or trouble breathing, particularly during pregnancy or after birth. These examples are not a complete warning-sign list. New, unexplained or postmenopausal bleeding needs medical assessment, even if it happens only once.

Ongoing pain, suspected infection, new lumps or lesions, urinary symptoms or prolapse concerns also need appropriate assessment. A coaching or aesthetic appointment is not a substitute for that care.

Questions before you begin

Clear answers. No pressure.

Where should I start if I am not sure what I need?

You do not need to choose a treatment first. Tell us what has changed and what matters most to you. We will help you arrange the appropriate private consultation, coaching appointment or referral pathway.

Does Dr. McLaughlin prescribe hormone therapy?

Dr. Nathalie McLaughlin can assess hormone-related concerns and prescribe hormone therapy when appropriate within her private Sparkle practice. A prescription is not automatic; recommendations depend on medical assessment, your history and the options suitable for you. Taryn provides coaching, not hormone prescribing.

How are private Sparkle services different from public medical care?

Dr. McLaughlin’s services at Sparkle are private. Clinical issues requiring care through New Brunswick’s public healthcare system are directed to the appropriate public-care pathway. Sparkle does not replace emergency care, hospital care or medically necessary investigations and specialist care outside the scope of its private services.

How soon after birth can I explore support?

You can ask about your options without committing to a treatment. Timing for treatment depends on recovery, the service, your medical history and clearance from your healthcare provider. Tell us about your delivery, healing, breastfeeding and any ongoing symptoms; there is no single waiting period that fits everyone.

Can I have treatment while breastfeeding?

Breastfeeding can affect treatment eligibility and timing. Tell your provider before booking. We will review the specific service and may recommend waiting, an alternative option or medical guidance rather than proceeding.

How does coaching fit with medical care?

Madelaine’s founding philosophy connects nutrition, fitness and behaviour. Taryn offers caring nutrition, personal-training and menopause coaching to help put practical habits into place. Coaching does not diagnose conditions or replace medical care. Hormone prescribing and other medical decisions belong with Dr. McLaughlin or the appropriate healthcare professional.

Do I need a device treatment for leakage, dryness or intimate discomfort?

Not necessarily. These concerns can have different causes. Start with appropriate assessment rather than choosing a device from a symptom list. Your next step may involve medical care, pelvic floor physiotherapy, supportive measures, a discussion of Sparkle treatment options or referral.

What will my appointments cost?

Costs depend on whether you choose a private medical consultation, coaching or a treatment plan. Ask Sparkle to confirm the fee and what is included before booking. Private-insurance eligibility also depends on the service, provider and your policy; do not assume every appointment is covered.

You do not have to figure it out alone.

Start with a conversation, not a shopping list of treatments. We will help you understand which Sparkle appointment—or outside-care pathway—is the right next step.
