Four treatment options
Personalized skin planning
Four options. One plan for your skin.
Classic and RF microneedling are not interchangeable. We consider your concerns, pigment history, skin health, downtime and budget before recommending an option.

Classic microneedling
Mechanical microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the skin. Your provider assesses whether it fits your texture, scar or skin-quality concerns.

PRP microneedling
Uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood as part of a microneedling plan. Suitability and the role of PRP are discussed during consultation.

Matrix Pro RF microneedling
Combines needles with radiofrequency energy beneath the skin. Settings, candidacy and recovery differ from classic treatment.

Potenza RF microneedling
Another RF option within our skin-treatment range. Your provider explains why a particular device may be appropriate—not simply which is newest.

A conversation before treatment.
01 Assess
We review your skin, goals, medical history, medications and previous treatments. Active acne, pigment concerns and healing history help guide candidacy.
02 Explain & choose
Your provider explains the option, quote, expected discomfort, recovery and risks before you decide. Numbing and appointment length depend on your treatment.
03 Treat & follow up
Follow your personalized aftercare. We review your response before planning another session, maintenance or a carefully timed combination.
Your plan. Your quote.
Microneedling is quoted after consultation. Your price depends on the treatment area, classic or RF technology, PRP and any combination care. We explain the recommended visits and total quote before treatment.
Plan for treatment—and for recovery.
Microneedling involves controlled skin injury. It is not suitable for everyone, and RF treatment needs additional device-specific screening.
Before your visit
- Tell us about pregnancy or breastfeeding, medications, isotretinoin history, blood thinners, cold sores, active acne or infection, healing problems, keloids and pigment changes. Mention implanted devices if considering RF.
- Avoid tanning and sunburn. Ask your provider about the timing of other procedures.
- Pause active skincare only as directed. Arrive with clean skin when possible.
Aftercare
- Follow your provider’s instructions for cleansing, moisturizer, sun protection, makeup and restarting active skincare.
- Do not pick, scrub or exfoliate healing skin. Avoid unnecessary touching.
- Avoid heat, sweating, swimming and tanning for the recovery period your provider recommends.
Redness, tenderness, warmth, swelling, dryness, pinpoint bleeding and flaking can occur. Healing varies by treatment and settings. Improvement develops gradually; some concerns need a series rather than one visit. Results are not guaranteed.
Important risks and when to contact us
Potential complications include infection, cold sore or acne flare, pigment darkening or lightening, scarring and an unsatisfactory result. RF microneedling adds energy-related risks, including burns, unwanted fat or tissue changes and nerve injury. Appropriate screening, settings and aftercare reduce—but do not eliminate—risk.
Contact Sparkle for worsening pain, spreading redness, pus, fever, blisters, unusual swelling, cold sore flare or unexpected pigment changes. Seek urgent medical care for severe allergic symptoms or rapidly worsening symptoms.
Read the U.S. FDA RF-microneedling safety communication. This is risk information, not a statement of Canadian device authorization.
A few helpful answers.
Bring your questions. We want your next step to feel informed, not rushed.
Is classic or RF microneedling right for me?
The choice depends on your skin concerns, medical history, pigment risk and recovery tolerance. RF adds radiofrequency energy, so it has different screening, settings and risks. Your provider will explain the recommendation.
Can all skin tones be treated?
Skin tone alone does not establish suitability. Pigmentation history, recent tanning, melasma, skin health and the selected device all matter. We assess these factors before recommending treatment.
Does it hurt, and how long is recovery?
Numbing may be used. You may feel prickling, warmth or tenderness, and redness, swelling, dryness or flaking may follow. Discomfort and recovery vary by area, treatment and settings; your provider explains what to expect.
How many visits will I need?
Some concerns need a series, while others may need a different approach. The number and spacing are individualized and reviewed with your skin response. Results develop gradually and are not guaranteed.
Can it be combined with PRP or other treatments?
PRP microneedling is offered. Other combinations or sequences are considered only when appropriate for your skin, the products and devices involved, and your recovery. We do not assume every treatment can be done together.
How much does microneedling cost?
We provide a consultation-based quote. Treatment area, classic or RF technology, PRP and the proposed number of visits affect the price. Your plan and quote are explained before treatment.
Let’s find your skin’s next step.
You do not need to choose a device before you come in. Start with a skin consultation, and we’ll talk through the options, recovery and quote together.
