What is a Photofacial?
Our Photofacial is a quick and easy way to undo the damage caused by the sun including vessels, sun spots and freckles. Various wavelengths of light are delivered, which target different skin concerns and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. When this occurs, pigmented damage such as sun/age spots and freckles get pushed to the surface of the skin and naturally flake off. The light also treats dilated capillaries and diffuse redness in the skin. The end result is a more even, bright and creamy skin tone and firm, youthful, rejuvenated, healthy-looking skin.

Before & After
Frequently Asked Questions
Who Is A Good Candidate For A Photofacial?
Photofacials can treat a variety of concerns such as hyperpigmentation, scarring, facial veins and more. A consultation is required to determine if this treatment is right for you or if alternative treatments such as medical grade skincare would give you better and more permanent results.
How Soon Will I See Results?
Results will vary depending on which condition you are treating. Typically you should expect to see some improvement in your skin a week or so after each Photofacial treatment, with results improving after each successive treatment. Your results will become more obvious as you continue your treatment, and the best results will be seen 3 to 5 months after your last treatment. Depending on your skin concerns, a series of treatments may be needed.
Is There Any Downtime?
You should expect to be able to resume your daily activity immediately, although your skin may be a little sensitive and red in the hours following treatment. We recommend that you do not go in the sun or hot water for at least 48 hours.
Does A Photofacial Treatment Hurt?
Treatment is not painful. You can expect to feel a heated sensation as the pulses of light permeate your skin, with the most you can expect to feel a similar sensation to someone flicking an elastic band against your skin with each pulse. If you are extremely sensitive to pain, topically applied anesthetic can be considered before treatment and moisturizer can be applied immediately afterward.
