Does Coolsculpting tighten skin?

Does CoolSculpting tighten skin?

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive and relatively rapid treatment that is quiet effective when it comes to removing fat, but it does not necessarily tighten the skin.

SculpSure also does the same thing — removing fat. In fact, both CoolSculpting and SculpSure use a similar principle. They work by changing the temperature of fat cells and gradually destroy the cells. But while CoolSculpting works by making fat cells too cold, SculpSure heats fat cells beyond the point of viability.

CoolSculpting applies suction while cooling the area, and causes the fat cells to freeze. When the frozen cells are no longer viable, your body naturally clears away these dead cells.

On the other hand, SculpSure does not require any suction or massaging. In this treatment, periods of warming with higher intensities of heat are immediately followed by a brief period of cooling. Depending on the intensity of the treatment, some patients may feel slight tingling and a sensation of cramping.

Like CoolSculpting, SculpSure only removes fat cells, but some recent studies suggest that the bulk of heating from SculpSure may slightly improve the tightening of the skin. It happens partly because SculpSure uses bulk of heat for a 25 minute period.

Here at Sparkle Lifestyle & MediSpa, we use SculpSure and many of our patients have been successful in tightening skin with this treatment. Please contact us if you want to know more about SculpSure.
