CO2RE Intima uses fractional CO2 laser energy on selected vaginal or vulvar tissue. At Sparkle, it is considered only after screening and physician evaluation. Dryness, irritation, discomfort and changes after childbirth or menopause can have different causes; choosing a laser is not the starting assumption.
Evidence for vaginal laser treatment has limitations. Symptom improvement and long-term benefit are not guaranteed. Your OBGYN will discuss whether an established alternative—such as lubricants, moisturizers, hormone-related care when appropriate, pelvic-floor support or another medical pathway—better fits your concern.

2. OBGYN evaluation — $250
If screening suggests you may be a candidate, meet Dr. Nathalie McLaughlin for further evaluation. Discuss the likely cause of your symptoms, alternatives, risks and whether treatment is appropriate.
3. Treatment, if appropriate
After evaluation and informed consent, the doctor or nurse may perform treatment depending on your plan. The number and spacing of sessions, aftercare and follow-up are individualized.

Non-surgical does not mean risk-free. We review expected benefits, uncertainty, alternatives and material risks before treatment.
Before treatment
- Tell the team about pregnancy, breastfeeding, postpartum healing, medications and previous pelvic or intimate procedures.
- Report unexplained bleeding, infection symptoms, open lesions, irritation or new pain. These may require assessment or another care pathway before laser is considered.
- Your OBGYN reviews candidacy and any need for medical investigation. Free screening is not a substitute for this evaluation.
After treatment
- Discuss discomfort, sensitivity, swelling, discharge and the possibility of burns, scarring, infection or persistent pain with your treating clinician.
- Follow your individual restrictions for sexual activity, tampons, hot tubs and heat exposure; the team confirms the timing for your plan.
- Contact Sparkle for worsening or concerning symptoms. Seek prompt medical care for severe pain, heavy bleeding, fever or other urgent symptoms.

Who performs the treatment?
The doctor or nurse may perform CO2RE Intima depending on the agreed clinical plan. Your team confirms the treating provider before your appointment.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no automatic series for everyone. The number, spacing and need for follow-up are determined after evaluation and reassessment. Your quote is explained before treatment.
Will CO2RE Intima resolve my symptoms?
Improvement is not guaranteed. Evidence for vaginal laser treatment has limitations, and different symptoms can have different causes. Your OBGYN discusses realistic expectations and alternatives rather than promising a result.
What does treatment feel like, and is there recovery?
Sensation and recovery vary. Discomfort, sensitivity, swelling or discharge may occur. Your clinician explains the risks and any temporary activity restrictions, including intimacy and tampon use, before you decide.
What if I have bladder leakage or painful intimacy?
These concerns deserve assessment rather than choosing a device on your own. The appropriate pathway may involve medical evaluation, pelvic-floor care, hormone-related care when appropriate or another option. Laser is not automatically recommended.
What should I budget for?
Nurse screening is free. The OBGYN evaluation is $250. CO2RE Intima treatment starts at $1,200 per session, with a personalized quote before treatment. The $50 new-client voucher applies to treatment, not the physician appointment.
