Laser Eyebrow Tattoo Removal
Over the past couple of years, eyebrow tattoos, or microblading has become extremely popular. Some experts can make your eyebrows look their very best. But there are those who don’t do such a great job, and many women end up with horrendous looking permanent eyebrows. That is why eyebrow tattoo removal is on the rise.
The process of eyebrow tattoo removal is often called microblading correction. Here at Sparkle Lifestyle & MediSpa, we provide proper eye protection and take all safety precautions to ensure no harm is done.
The number of sessions it will take for eyebrow tattoo removal depends on a number of factors such as
- Your skin type
- The type of ink used for microblading
- The technique used
- Size of the tattoos
To do the treatment, you will have to shave your eyebrow, and you will need you will need 2 to 4 treatment sessions.
If you want to re-tattoo the eyebrow area, you will have to allow the area to heal completely before the session. How long you will have to wait will depend on your skin type and other factors.
In order for the procedure to be effective, a tattoo needs to settle into the dermis so that the colors of the ink can show through the tones of the epidermis and the dermis.
After the first or second laser treatment, the tattoo turns to a rusty browning color. Then, subsequent treatments eventually completely remove the tattoo and the rusty brownish hue.
It is possible to remove some selected sections of an eyebrow tattoo or any other type of cosmetic tattoo. We use PicoWay laser that is capable of meeting your individual tattoo removal specifications.
We recommend you to avoid any external contact with the affected area for 3 days after your treatment. Do not touch the area and try to sleep on your back. Avoid exposure to water. We also recommend you to avoid applying any makeup or cream to the area treated with a laser. Your body will recover soon if you get enough sleep and eat well.
You may lose some eyebrow hair form having the laser tattoo removal treatment, but this hair loss is temporary. The laser removes the pigment. So, your eyebrows may turn white following the treatment. Don’t worry. This whitening is not permanent.
After your first treatment, you can expect some pinpoint bleeding and mild to moderate swelling. The swelling will not last more than 24 hours and the skin will be back to normal within 2 weeks.
