Prepare your skin
Avoid tanning and significant sun exposure before treatment. Your provider may ask you to pause retinoids, acids, or exfoliants based on your skin and treatment plan. Do not stop prescribed medication unless your prescribing provider advises you to. An antiviral may be considered when clinically appropriate.
Your appointment
Your appointment may take 45–90 minutes depending on the area and intensity. Numbing cream is applied and additional comfort options may be discussed.
Care at home
Expect redness, swelling, warmth, peeling, crusting, and sensitivity. Strict post-care, sun avoidance, and follow-up are essential. Post-care skincare is included in your treatment price.

Is CO2RE the right fit for you?
Being ready for downtime is only one part of candidacy. Your provider reviews skin tone, pigment history, healing, medications and medical history before recommending a plan.
What your provider needs to know
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, active infection or inflamed acne in the treatment area, recent tanning or significant sun exposure, a history of pigment complications or poor wound healing, current or recent isotretinoin use requiring medical review, or inability to follow aftercare. Skin tone and pigment risk must be assessed individually.
Risks and when to contact us
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, heat, dryness, peeling, and crusting can occur. Laser resurfacing can also cause blistering, burns, infection, temporary lightening or darkening of the skin, delayed healing, and—rarely—scarring. Pigment risk varies with skin tone, sun exposure, treatment depth, and individual healing response.
Protective eyewear is required during laser treatment. Contact Sparkle promptly if recovery is worsening rather than improving, or if you develop severe pain, spreading redness, drainage, blistering, signs of infection, or another unexpected reaction.
