#1 Product for Your Best Lashes Ever

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LATISSE

Why Latisse?

Whether you wear mascara every day, swear by strip lashes, extensions, or some kind of home remedy, everyone seems to have the same goal: getting thicker, longer, darker, wink-able, bat-able lashes.

How would you like to wake up every day with your best lashes ever?

Latisse is the only FDA-approved medical product to grow eyelashes for people with inadequate or not enough lashes. It’s been on the market since 2008 and has become very popular for its striking results and claims.

Many people, however, are skeptical. Does it live up to the hype? Is it safe? Will it work for you?

Let’s jump in and cover the most common questions and concerns!

Does Latisse really work?

The short answer is yes!! The Latisse clinical study was conducted at 16 sites across the country and included 278 people with a 16-week treatment period. Roughly half of the group was using Latisse and the other half used what is called a vehicle, which is the same solution as Latisse, but without the active ingredient. At the end of the 16-week treatment period, the results showed that Latisse was effective for 78% of those participating vs. 18% for those in the vehicle group. That is a huge difference, and proves the efficacy of the active ingredient and of the product!

Is Latisse safe?

Latisse, like any other medical strength product that requires a prescription, does have possible side effects. The most common side effect is eye irritation including an itching sensation and/or redness, which was reported in approximately 4% of clinical trial patients. Some other less common side effects include skin darkening around the eyes, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes, redness of the eyelids, and increased iris pigmentation.

These side effects can sound a little scary, but that is exactly why Latisse needs to be prescribed by a doctor to assure the proper treatment and use. With the aid and advice of a doctor, you can be assured that you are using the product properly, which diminishes the risk of a negative reaction. Additionally, if we revisit the statistic mentioned above, the most common side effect was reported in only 4% of the clinical trial patients. This means that the less common side effects only occur in less than 4% of patients, and the vast majority of patients experience no side effects, just long beautiful lashes!

What results can you expect from Latisse?

Some may start to notice longer lashes after about a month and many should experience full results in approximately four months, but individual results may vary. For the best results, you must apply the solution nightly for the full recommended 16 weeks. If you stop using Latisse during the initial 16-week treatment period, your eyelashes can return to their previous appearance over several weeks to months. After that, you can talk to your doctor about ongoing use in order to maintain your results

Who is a good candidate for Latisse?

Latisse is suitable for men or women with hypotrichosis (the medical term for having inadequate or not enough lashes) who want to grow longer, fuller and darker eyelashes.
However, Latisse is not appropriate for people who are allergic to bimatoprost or any other ingredient in the product. Additionally, anyone under care for glaucoma, with known or suspected active eye disease, who is at risk for eye disorders, or who is using medications to treat any eye pressure problems should only use Latisse under close doctor care.

How do you use Latisse?

We recommend removing any makeup, cleaning the upper eyelids and removing any contact lenses, if applicable. Then, place one drop of Latisse on the provided single-use brush and apply the product to the base of the upper lash line. Avoiding cross-contamination is key, so be careful not to allow the tip of the bottle or applicator to contact surrounding structures, fingers or any other unintended surface, and always use a fresh applicator brush. After applying, any excess fluid should be blotted off with a tissue. Contact lenses can be placed back in the eye after 15 minutes following application.

"Everyone that I've had a chance to meet at Sparkle have been very helpful. Alexandra was amazing and I really feel that I have the right products and plan to have clearer skin. Looking froward to it. I also didn't feel pressured in buying a bunch of products and have a good understand of what each product will do to help."

"Everyone was very polite and knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy products. I was surprised with my consultation fee waived when I did buy products, there are monthly giveaways and it's always nice to feel like a company gives back. I felt unrushed during my consultation and that none of my questions were silly."
