Carbon Laser Facial in Moncton & Dieppe
A low-downtime laser facial for clients who want brighter-looking skin, a cleaner-looking pore finish, smoother texture, and an event-ready glow without needles.
A medical-grade liquid carbon layer is applied to the skin, then targeted with laser energy to exfoliate the surface and lift away carbon-bound oil, debris, and dead skin cells. At Sparkle, candidacy is confirmed first and treatment is performed using Candela laser technology under medical oversight.

IN SHORT
A carbon facial is a fast skin-refresh treatment built around exfoliation, clarity, and glow.
Carbon Laser Facial — also called a Carbon Peel or Hollywood Peel — combines a liquid carbon layer with laser energy. The carbon settles across the skin and into the pore surface, where it binds to oil and debris. The laser then targets the carbon, creating a controlled exfoliating effect that can leave the skin looking brighter, smoother, and more refreshed.
It is often chosen when the goal is a polished complexion with little to no planned downtime rather than deeper resurfacing. Results vary, and a consultation is used to confirm that this treatment fits your skin, recent sun exposure, medications, and goals.
At a glance
- Best known for: glow, dullness, congestion, excess oil, and surface texture
- Treatment area: face
- Needles: none
- Downtime: typically little to none, with temporary warmth or pinkness possible
- Planning: consultation first
WHAT IT HELPS WITH
Choose it for the finish — not because every skin concern needs the same laser.
Dullness + uneven-looking tone
Surface exfoliation can leave the complexion looking brighter, fresher, and more even immediately after treatment.
Congestion + clogged-looking pores
The carbon layer binds to surface oil and debris, helping create a cleaner, more refined-looking finish.
Excess oil + shine
The treatment can reduce the look of surface oil temporarily and leave the skin feeling cleaner and more balanced.
Surface texture + radiance
Gentle surface exfoliation can make the skin feel smoother and look more luminous, especially when dullness is the main concern.
A Carbon Laser Facial is a cosmetic skin-refresh treatment. It does not diagnose or treat medical skin conditions, and results vary from person to person.
THE SPARKLE PROCESS
Four steps. No mystery.
01 · CONSULT
We review your skin, goals, recent sun exposure, medications, and treatment history to confirm candidacy.
02 · CARBON
A thin layer of liquid carbon is applied and allowed to settle across the skin and pore surface.
03 · LASER
Laser energy targets the carbon. Most clients describe warmth and a light snapping sensation during the pass.
04 · REFRESH
Skin can look brighter and feel smoother right away. Temporary warmth or pinkness may occur.
WHO IT FITS
A good fit when you want refresh, not aggressive resurfacing.
Event-ready glow
You want a polished, refreshed look before a wedding, photoshoot, trip, or special occasion without planning for significant recovery.
Congestion-prone skin
Your skin tends to look oily, congested, dull, or rough and you want a deeper-feeling refresh than a basic surface facial.
Low-commitment maintenance
You prefer a lighter skin-maintenance treatment and want your provider to decide when a carbon facial makes sense versus another facial or laser option.
Not sure if it is right for your skin? Candidacy is individualized. Skin type, active irritation, medications, recent tanning, and treatment goals all matter.

WHY SPARKLE
The treatment is simple. The decision-making should still be clinical.
Consultation first. We confirm the Carbon Laser Facial fits your skin instead of treating every glow concern the same way.
Candela laser technology. Sparkle uses advanced laser technology and established clinical protocols rather than positioning a carbon facial as a one-size-fits-all spa service.
Medical oversight. Sparkle operates under the medical oversight of Dr. Carole Williams, MD OBGYN, with treatment delivered by trained skin and laser providers.
Serving Moncton since 2012. Experience matters — especially when deciding whether a light-refresh treatment, medical facial, or more corrective laser plan makes the most sense.
SAFETY + CANDIDACY
Low downtime does not mean zero screening.
A Carbon Laser Facial is non-invasive, but temporary effects and laser-related risks are still possible. Your consultation is used to review skin condition, recent sun exposure, medications, treatment history, and other factors that may change the plan.
Contact Sparkle if you experience an unexpected or persistent reaction after treatment.
Common temporary effects
- Mild redness or pinkness
- Warmth during or shortly after treatment
- Temporary sensitivity
Treatment may be postponed or avoided if you have
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- An active skin infection, open wound, or significant active irritation in the treatment area
- Recent tanning, significant sun exposure, or sunburn
- Medications or skincare products that may increase photosensitivity or irritation risk
