What It Is
Emsella is a non-invasive pelvic floor treatment performed while fully clothed.
During an Emsella session, you sit on the chair while electromagnetic stimulation causes pelvic floor muscle contractions. These contractions may support pelvic floor muscle engagement and selected symptom goals. Response varies, and urgency, frequency, pain, or complex urinary symptoms may require medical assessment or pelvic floor physiotherapy.
Emsella is not a replacement for medical evaluation, pelvic floor physiotherapy, or treatment for complex pelvic pain or urinary symptoms. It is one possible option for selected clients after consultation.
Bladder leakage support
May be considered for selected clients with stress-type leakage during laughing, coughing, sneezing, or exercise after appropriate screening.
Pelvic floor strengthening
May be considered for selected clients with suspected pelvic floor weakness after recovery from childbirth or with age-related changes.
Confidence + intimacy
May support pelvic floor awareness for selected clients, but it is not a treatment for every sexual, pain, or intimate-health concern.
The Sparkle Process
Private pelvic floor care without guessing.
01
Confidential consultation
We review symptoms, goals, health history, contraindications, and whether Emsella is appropriate.
02
Treatment session
You sit fully clothed on the Emsella chair. The treatment portion is commonly scheduled for about 30 minutes, while the full visit may be longer.
03
Pelvic floor stimulation
The chair creates pelvic floor muscle contractions that may support strengthening over time.
04
Series + maintenance
The number and spacing of sessions are individualized. Reassessment helps determine whether additional treatment, maintenance, physiotherapy, or medical follow-up is appropriate.
Candidacy
Emsella may help, but it is not for everyone.
Pelvic floor symptoms can have different causes. Emsella may be appropriate for selected clients with bladder leakage, urgency, pelvic floor weakness, postpartum changes, or reduced pelvic floor awareness. Emsella should not be presented as a proven preventive treatment for people without symptoms or an identified need. A consultation helps determine whether Emsella, pelvic floor physiotherapy, medical evaluation, or combination care is the most appropriate next step.
May be a fit
Selected stress-type leakage, reduced pelvic floor awareness, or suspected weakness after appropriate postpartum recovery and screening. Urgency or frequency may need medical assessment first.
May not be a fit
Pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, certain metal implants in or near the treatment area, pregnancy, or another contraindication identified during screening.
Needs medical review
New, severe, painful, bloody, recurrent, complex, or worsening urinary or pelvic symptoms should be medically assessed before treatment.
Consultation first
We review symptoms, contraindications, health history, goals, comfort level, and package options.
Common Reasons Clients Ask About Emsella
Pelvic floor support can affect daily life, confidence, and intimacy.
Bladder leaks
For leakage with coughs, sneezes, laughing, lifting, running, or jumping.
Urgency + frequency
Urgency or frequency can have several causes and should be assessed before Emsella is considered.
Postpartum changes
For selected clients after childbirth recovery when screening suggests pelvic floor weakness and treatment is appropriate.
Age-related changes
For selected clients with symptoms or reduced pelvic floor function associated with age-related change; not marketed as guaranteed prevention.
Results Timeline
Emsella response varies and should be reassessed during treatment.
Some clients report changes in muscle awareness or symptoms during a course of treatment, while others do not respond. Outcomes depend on the underlying cause, baseline pelvic floor function, health history, and whether physiotherapy or medical care is also needed.
Early response
Some clients notice temporary muscle engagement or awareness; this does not predict the final outcome.
During a series
Symptoms should be tracked and reassessed rather than assuming improvement after a fixed number of sessions.
Individualized plan
Session number and spacing depend on screening, goals, response, and the current treatment protocol.
Maintenance
Maintenance is not automatic and should be based on response, recurrence of symptoms, and reassessment.
Combination Planning
Emsella may be part of a broader intimate-health plan.
Pelvic floor function is one piece of intimate wellness. Depending on the cause of symptoms, the broader plan may involve medical care, pelvic floor physiotherapy, bladder training, lifestyle measures, or a separate intimate-health treatment. Treatments should not be combined automatically.
TempSure Vitalia
A separate radiofrequency option that requires its own indication, candidacy review, timing, and informed consent.
PRP Clitoral Treatment PRP
A separate PRP-based procedure with different evidence, risks, and candidacy requirements; it is not an automatic add-on to Emsella.
CO2RE Intima
A separate laser procedure requiring symptom-specific medical screening, candidacy review, and realistic discussion of evidence and risks.
Pelvic floor care
Pelvic floor physiotherapy or medical assessment may be the primary recommendation rather than an addition to a cosmetic treatment plan.

Risks & Safety
Emsella is non-invasive, but candidacy still matters.
Emsella may not be appropriate for clients with pacemakers, implanted electronic devices, certain metal implants in the treatment area, pregnancy, or specific medical conditions affected by electromagnetic stimulation. Temporary tingling, muscle fatigue, discomfort, or pelvic floor awareness may occur. Results vary, and not all urinary or pelvic symptoms are appropriate for Emsella.
Important: Emsella is not a replacement for medical care. New, severe, painful, bloody, recurrent, complex, or worsening urinary or pelvic symptoms should be assessed by an appropriate healthcare provider before Emsella.
