What It Is
Medi-Infusion is a professional facial — not a traditional acid peel.
The Osmosis Medi-Infusion uses a professional retinaldehyde formula and customizable powder actives delivered through an infusion-style facial protocol. Retinaldehyde is a Vitamin A derivative used to support visible renewal, tone, texture, and overall skin quality.
Unlike a traditional chemical peel designed around controlled acid exfoliation, Medi-Infusion is positioned as a non-acid treatment. That does not mean every client will have the same sensation or response, so the products and intensity should still be chosen after assessment.
In short: Sparkle Lifestyle & MediSpa offers the Osmosis Medi-Infusion facial in Moncton and Dieppe for selected clients seeking hydration, glow, smoother-looking texture, barrier-conscious care, and support for visible aging, dullness, congestion, or uneven tone. Medical facials at Sparkle start from $150. A series of 3–6 treatments spaced about four weeks apart may be recommended, with maintenance based on skin response and goals.
Glow + Hydration
A customized infusion may support a fresher-looking, more hydrated complexion without relying on dramatic visible peeling.
Tone + Texture
Retinaldehyde and selected actives may support smoother-looking texture, more even-looking tone, and gradual skin renewal.
Barrier-Conscious Care
The protocol can be adapted for skin that needs a gentler starting point, although sensitivity and candidacy still require assessment.
Age-Support Goals
May support the appearance of fine lines, elasticity, dullness, and overall skin vitality as part of a consistent plan.

What To Expect
The Sparkle Process
01 Consult
We review your skin goals, sensitivities, allergies, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, active products, recent treatments, sun exposure, and upcoming events.
02 Customize
Your provider assesses hydration, barrier condition, congestion, redness, pigment, texture, and tolerance, then selects the Osmosis products and powder actives appropriate for that visit.
03 Infuse
After cleansing and preparation, the professional retinaldehyde formula and selected actives are worked into the skin using the clinic’s Medi-Infusion protocol. Warmth or tingling may occur.
04 Support
You receive specific homecare guidance. Visible peeling is not the goal, but temporary redness, warmth, dryness, tingling, or sensitivity can still occur depending on your skin and formula.
Why Choose Sparkle
We choose the facial based on your skin that day.
A facial should not be selected by trend alone. Sparkle considers your barrier, sensitivity, breakouts, pigment, products, recent procedures, desired downtime, and long-term plan before recommending Medi-Infusion or another facial.
Skin Analysis First
We assess what your skin needs now instead of repeating the same protocol at every appointment.
Customized Powder Actives
Professional add-ons can be selected according to goals and tolerance rather than using one fixed blend for everyone.
Barrier-Aware Planning
If your skin is irritated, over-exfoliated, sunburned, or actively flaring, the plan may be modified or delayed.
Homecare Integration
Professional skincare recommendations help support hydration, SPF, active-product timing, and progress between appointments.
Combination Strategy
Medi-Infusion may be timed around medical facials, peels, laser, microneedling, injectables, or skincare when appropriate.
Realistic Expectations
We position the facial as supportive skin care, not a cure for acne, rosacea, melasma, or another medical skin condition.
Compare Your Options
Medi-Infusion vs. a Traditional Chemical Peel
Both can support tone and texture, but they use different approaches. Medi-Infusion is a retinaldehyde-based, non-acid professional facial. Chemical peels use selected acids to create controlled exfoliation. Your best option depends on skin condition, goals, tolerance, pigment risk, and desired downtime.
Candidacy
Who is a good candidate for Medi-Infusion?
May Be a Fit
Clients seeking hydration, glow, smoother-looking texture, barrier-conscious renewal, visible age support, or a professional maintenance facial — with realistic expectations and willingness to follow homecare guidance.
Needs Caution
Very reactive skin, active rosacea flare, dermatitis, open lesions, infection, sunburn, recent procedures, allergies, active prescription products, or a history of reactions may require modification, delay, or another option.
Consultation First
Because the protocol uses a Vitamin A derivative and customizable actives, tell your provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, using retinoids or prescription acne medication, or under medical skin care.
Pricing in Moncton & Dieppe
Osmosis Medi-Infusion Pricing
Starting Price
Medical facials at Sparkle start from $150. Exact Medi-Infusion pricing depends on the customized protocol, add-ons, package, and membership status and is confirmed when booking or during consultation.
Typical Series
A series of 3–6 treatments spaced about four weeks apart may be recommended for progressive goals. A single facial or different schedule may be appropriate for maintenance or event preparation.
Maintenance
Many clients return every 6–8 weeks for maintenance, but timing should follow skin response, active products, other procedures, budget, and provider guidance.
Pricing, package savings, treatment frequency, products, and add-ons are subject to change and are confirmed before treatment based on your customized facial plan.
Prep & Aftercare
Support your barrier before and after your facial.
Before Your Visit
- Tell your provider about allergies, sensitivities, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, prescription acne care, retinoids, recent peels, laser, microneedling, and sun exposure.
- Do not arrive with sunburn, open wounds, active infection, or a severe inflammatory flare in the treatment area.
- Arrive with clean skin and no makeup when possible.
Active Skincare
Pause retinoids, acids, scrubs, benzoyl peroxide, or other strong actives only according to your provider’s instructions. Do not stop prescribed treatment without the prescribing clinician’s guidance.
Aftercare
- Use gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and broad-spectrum SPF as directed.
- Avoid picking, scrubbing, waxing, and unnecessary exfoliation while the skin feels sensitive.
- Avoid excessive heat and unprotected sun exposure after treatment.
- Contact the clinic if you develop significant swelling, blistering, hives, worsening pain, or another concerning reaction.
Timing + Events
Medi-Infusion is often chosen as a lower-downtime facial, but first-time reactions vary. Leave enough time before an important event and avoid introducing multiple new active products at once.

Frequently Asked Questions
Osmosis Medi-Infusion questions, answered clearly.
These answers are general and do not replace a skin consultation. Your protocol depends on skin condition, sensitivity, allergies, medical history, medications, pregnancy status, products, recent procedures, and provider assessment.
Risks & Safety
Gentler does not mean reaction-proof.
Possible effects may include temporary redness, warmth, tingling, tightness, dryness, light flaking, sensitivity, irritation, breakout, contact reaction, swelling, pigment change, or an unsatisfactory result. Risk depends on skin condition, ingredients, allergies, active products, recent procedures, and aftercare.
Important: Contact the clinic promptly if you experience significant swelling, hives, blistering, worsening pain, spreading redness, drainage, signs of infection, or another reaction that concerns you. Seek urgent medical care for severe allergic symptoms.
