Moncton NB · Canada

In short: Sparkle Academy provides advanced medical-aesthetics training for med spa owners, medical aestheticians, laser technicians, clinical leads, and aesthetic teams in Canada. Led by Sparkle founder and Candela Medical Key Opinion Leader Madelaine Caissie, training may include laser and light technology, RF and microneedling, treatment planning, contraindication screening, adverse-effect prevention, consultations, client education, team protocols, service-menu strategy, pricing, and clinic growth. Private, team, virtual, and in-person training options may be available depending on the program.

Beyond The Protocol

Protocols are useful. Clinical judgment is what happens when the client does not fit the protocol.

Modern aesthetic technology gives providers more options than ever. That also means more decisions: who to treat, which technology to choose, when to adjust, when to combine, when to delay, what to document, how to explain expectations, and when the safest decision is not to treat.

Sparkle Academy focuses on the thinking behind those decisions. The goal is not simply to teach a sequence of buttons or settings. It is to help your team understand the clinical reasoning, client communication, safety systems, and business decisions that surround the treatment.

Assess first

Build stronger habits around history, contraindications, skin assessment, expectations, and client selection.

Choose with intention

Understand why one technology, wavelength, parameter strategy, sequence, or treatment path may make more sense than another.

Recognize risk

Strengthen prevention, documentation, escalation, aftercare, and awareness of adverse effects.

Explain the plan

Turn clinical knowledge into consultations clients can understand, trust, and make informed decisions from.

Madelaine Caissie

Founder of Sparkle Academy · Owner of Sparkle Lifestyle & MediSpa · Candela Medical Key Opinion Leader · Clinical Trainer

Madelaine built Sparkle Lifestyle & MediSpa from the operator side of the industry — treating the clinical, operational, sales, team, technology, and client-experience pieces as one system. Her teaching style connects technical knowledge to the decisions providers actually face inside a working med spa.

She has worked as a clinical trainer since 2016, is trained directly by Candela, works as a per diem clinical trainer for Candela, and is a Candela Medical Key Opinion Leader.

Clinic operator

Training is informed by the realities of running a medical-aesthetics business, not technical theory alone.

Clinical educator

Technical training is connected to assessment, safety, troubleshooting, consultation, and provider confidence.

Important distinction: Private training booked directly through Sparkle Academy is an independent Sparkle Academy service and is not represented as manufacturer-issued Candela training or certification unless expressly arranged through Candela.

Advanced Training Curriculum

Train the skills your team actually uses between the textbook and the treatment room.

Curriculum is shaped by the training format, technology, team experience, and clinic goals. A custom program may draw from the following areas.

Laser + Light Technology

Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, picosecond laser, fractional CO2, IPL, wavelength selection, device logic, treatment planning, parameters, and safety.

RF + Microneedling

Radiofrequency, RF microneedling, conventional microneedling, treatment planning, client selection, parameters, endpoints, sequencing, and safety considerations.

Clinical Decision-Making

Assessment, contraindications, treatment selection, combination planning, treatment intervals, clinical endpoints, aftercare, and knowing when not to treat.

Consultation + Client Education

Needs-based consultation, expectation setting, treatment presentation, informed decision-making, pricing conversations, treatment series, and long-term client planning.

Protocols + Team Systems

Treatment protocols, documentation, onboarding, competency development, consultation consistency, pre- and post-care, and team training systems.

Business + Service Strategy

Technology selection, service-menu strategy, pricing, packages, client journeys, retention, team utilization, and building services that make financial sense.

Training Formats

Build the training around the gap — not the other way around.

A clinic buying its first laser needs something different from a seasoned team struggling with inconsistent consultations. Training can be shaped around where your clinic is now and what needs to improve next.

Private Training

Focused education built around a provider, clinic, technology, workflow, or specific confidence gap.

On-Site Team Training

Bring training into your clinic so the education can connect directly to your team, device environment, systems, and workflow.

Virtual Consulting

Useful for treatment-planning questions, protocol review, consultation strategy, business decisions, troubleshooting, and ongoing team education.

Training Systems

Support may include protocols, onboarding resources, consultation tools, training materials, and repeatable systems for your team.

Who It’s For

For clinics that are done guessing their way through growth.

Sparkle Academy is built for professionals who want more than a certificate on the wall. It is for clinics that want their team to understand the reasoning behind the work and apply that thinking consistently.

Med Spa Owners

Strengthen your clinical systems, team confidence, service menu, technology decisions, and profitability.

Medical Aestheticians

Deepen your understanding of technology, treatment planning, assessment, safety, and client communication.

Laser + Skin Technicians

Build more confidence around device logic, parameters, consultations, client selection, treatment delivery, and troubleshooting.

Clinical + Team Leads

Create stronger onboarding, protocols, competency standards, documentation, accountability, and consistency across providers.

What Changes After Better Training

The goal is not more information. It is better decisions.

Less guessing

Give your team a framework for thinking through treatments instead of relying only on memorized settings.

More consistency

Build shared standards for assessment, consultations, documentation, protocols, safety, and client education.

Stronger consultations

Help providers explain what they recommend, why they recommend it, what it costs, and what realistic expectations look like.

Smarter growth

Connect clinical confidence to service positioning, pricing, packages, utilization, retention, and healthier business decisions.

How It Starts

Start with the problem you actually need to solve.

01

Tell us the gap

Share your technology, team size, experience level, challenges, goals, and what you want your team to do more confidently.

02

Choose the format

We can identify whether virtual consulting, private training, hands-on education, or a larger team program makes the most sense.

03

Train on what matters

Use real clinic questions, workflows, technologies, consultations, and scenarios to make the education practical.

04

Take it back to clinic

Translate the education into stronger protocols, conversations, treatment planning, team habits, and business systems.

Professional Scope

Education supports competence. It does not create legal scope.

Scope of practice, delegation, supervision, insurance, licensing, device requirements, and permitted procedures vary by province, profession, treatment, and clinic structure. Participants and clinics remain responsible for confirming the legal and professional requirements that apply to them. Sparkle Academy training does not confer licensure or professional scope, and independent Sparkle Academy training is not manufacturer-issued certification unless expressly stated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you bring Sparkle Academy into your clinic.

The best starting point is not choosing a package. It is identifying what your team needs to do more confidently and consistently.

Sparkle Academy is designed for med spa owners, medical aestheticians, laser and skin technicians, clinical leads, and aesthetic teams that want stronger clinical decision-making, safety systems, consultation skills, treatment planning, team consistency, and business strategy.

Depending on the program and your clinic’s needs, training may cover laser and light technology, RF and microneedling, assessment, contraindications, treatment planning, parameters, safety, adverse-effect prevention, consultations, client education, protocols, onboarding, pricing, service strategy, and clinic growth.

Training may be offered virtually, in person, on site, privately, or for a larger clinic team depending on the topic, location, schedule, and training objectives. Contact Sparkle Academy with your needs so the appropriate format can be discussed.

Yes, depending on availability and the type of training requested. A private or team program can be shaped around your technologies, current skill level, protocols, consultation process, service menu, team challenges, and business priorities.

Yes. Sparkle Academy offers private GentleMax Pro clinical training and consulting for clinics using Candela laser systems. Training may include device operation, treatment planning, protocols, parameters, safety, troubleshooting, consultation flow, team education, and clinic-specific support.

Private training booked directly through Sparkle Academy is an independent Sparkle Academy service. Madelaine Caissie is trained directly by Candela and also works as a per diem clinical trainer for Candela, but private Sparkle Academy bookings are not represented as manufacturer-issued Candela training or certification unless the training is expressly arranged through Candela.

Training can support education and professional development, but it does not create legal scope of practice or replace licensing, delegation, insurance, supervision, manufacturer requirements, or provincial rules. Each participant and clinic is responsible for confirming what they are legally and professionally permitted to perform.

Email Madelaine Caissie with your clinic location, technology or training topic, team size, current experience level, and the areas where you want more support. Sparkle Academy can then discuss the training format and next steps that best fit your needs.
