In short: Sparkle Lifestyle & MediSpa offers masseter muscle Botox in Moncton and Dieppe for selected clients with jaw clenching, teeth grinding, jaw tension, wide or square jaw appearance, and lower-face balancing goals. Many clients require about 40–60 units total, with visible jawline softening often developing over 4–8 weeks and results commonly lasting around 4–6 months. Masseter Botox is not a replacement for dental or medical assessment when jaw symptoms are complex, painful, or worsening.
What It Is
Masseter Botox relaxes the strong jaw-closing muscle.
The masseter muscles sit along the lower jaw and help you chew and clench. When these muscles are very strong or overactive, they can contribute to jaw tension, clenching, teeth grinding, and a wider-looking lower face.
A neuromodulator such as Botox or Dysport can be injected into the masseter muscle to reduce muscle activity. In selected clients, this may support jaw tension concerns and gradually soften the appearance of the jawline.
Functional goals
May support clenching, grinding, jaw tension, or muscle overactivity.
Cosmetic goals
May gradually soften a wide or square jaw when the masseter contributes to width.
Anatomy-led dosing
Placement and dose should protect smile dynamics, chewing function, and facial balance.
The Sparkle Process
Precision matters with masseter injections.
01
Assessment
We assess masseter strength, jaw movement, clenching history, smile dynamics, asymmetry, and lower-face goals.
02
Treatment plan
We decide dosing, placement, and whether masseter Botox alone or combination planning makes sense.
03
Injection visit
Treatment is typically quick, with small injections placed into the masseter muscles.
04
Follow-up + maintenance
Results develop gradually. Maintenance is planned based on response, symptoms, and goals.
Why Sparkle
This is not just “inject the jaw and hope.”
The masseter sits near muscles that affect smile, cheek movement, and facial expression. Placement that is too superficial, too high, too low, or too far forward may create unwanted effects. Sparkle’s approach is anatomy-led, conservative where appropriate, and focused on both function and facial harmony.
Anatomy-led placement
We assess the muscle in motion, not only at rest.
Whole-face planning
Jaw width, chin projection, cheek balance, and facial proportions are considered together.
Medical oversight
Injectables are performed within clinical protocols and provider support.
Realistic expectations
We review dose, timeline, maintenance, risks, pricing, and alternative options.
Treatment Comparison
Jawline options: which approach fits your anatomy?
Masseter Botox is one lower-face tool. Some clients need muscle relaxation, some need structural support, and some need a combination plan.
Masseter Botox Alone
For jaw tension, clenching, grinding, or subtle softening of a muscle-dominant square jaw.
Masseter Botox + Chin Filler
May support a more balanced lower-face profile when chin projection is also part of the concern.
Chin or Jawline Filler
May add structure or definition but does not relax muscle tension or grinding activity.
Facial Harmonization
A staged plan that may include Botox, filler, Sculptra, skin treatments, or other options for balance.
Pricing in Moncton & Dieppe
Masseter Botox pricing depends on dose and treatment plan.
The right investment depends on whether we are treating one side or both sides, how strong the muscles are, whether filler is added, and whether this is part of a larger facial harmonization plan.
Both Sides
$300–$500
Typically around 40–60 units total, depending on muscle strength and goals.
Single Side
$175–$275
Used only when assessment supports asymmetry-focused treatment.
Botox + Chin Filler
$500–$800
For selected lower-face balancing plans.
Facial Harmonization
$800–$1,500
For broader lower-face or full-face balancing plans.
Treatment Timeline
Masseter Botox works gradually.
Before Treatment
We review clenching, dental history, medications, anatomy, smile dynamics, and your goals.
Days 3–7
Some clients notice jaw tension or clenching changes as the neuromodulator begins working.
Weeks 4–8
Cosmetic jawline softening may become more noticeable as muscle activity decreases.
Months 4–6
Results often gradually wear off. Maintenance timing depends on symptoms and goals.
Candidacy
Masseter Botox is not right for every jawline or every jaw symptom.
It may be appropriate when the masseter muscle is overactive or contributes to the jaw width. It may not be the right option if your symptoms are joint-driven, dental, nerve-related, structural, or medically complex.
May be a fit
Clenching, grinding, jaw tension, strong masseter muscles, or muscle-dominant lower-face width.
May not be a fit
Loose skin, weak chin projection alone, joint pain, bite issues, dental concerns, or non-muscle jaw symptoms.
Needs dental/medical care
Severe TMJ pain, locking, clicking, bite changes, tooth damage, headaches, or worsening symptoms may need medical or dental assessment.
Consultation first
We review dose, risks, benefits, alternatives, pricing, chewing function, and expected results.
Risks & Safety
Masseter Botox should protect both function and appearance.
Possible side effects include bruising, tenderness, swelling, headache, asymmetry, temporary chewing fatigue, bite changes, smile changes, over-slimming, under-response, unwanted spread, or unsatisfactory results. Rare but serious complications can occur with any injectable treatment. Risks can be reduced with proper assessment and technique, but they cannot be eliminated.
Important: Masseter Botox is not a complete TMJ treatment and does not replace dental care, a night guard, medical assessment, or treatment for underlying causes of jaw pain, headaches, joint issues, or teeth grinding.
