The GentleMax Pro is a dual-wavelength medical laser platform that combines a 755nm Alexandrite laser and a 1064nm Nd:YAG laser. At Sparkle, it may be used for selected laser hair removal, razor bumps, ingrown hairs, pigmentation, vascular lesions, spider veins, broken capillaries, cherry angiomas, and skin rejuvenation goals.

The 755nm Alexandrite wavelength is often used for laser hair removal and selected pigment concerns in lighter skin types when appropriate. Candidacy depends on skin tone, hair colour, hair thickness, tanning history, and pigment risk.

The 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength penetrates more deeply and may be selected for medium to deeper skin tones, some vascular concerns, and certain hair-removal plans. Settings still need careful assessment and customization.

GentleMax Pro can be considered for a wide range of skin tones because it includes both Alexandrite and Nd:YAG wavelengths, but no laser treatment is automatically appropriate or risk-free for every client. Skin tone, tanning, medications, pigment history, and hair colour must be assessed.

Laser hair removal usually requires a series because only hairs in an active growth phase respond at each visit. The number and spacing of sessions depend on the treatment area, hair colour and thickness, growth cycle, hormones, skin tone, response, and consistency. Maintenance may be recommended.

There is no reliable universal session count for pigmentation or vascular concerns. The plan depends on the diagnosis, size, depth, colour, location, cause, skin tone, response, and safety profile. Some concerns require maintenance, a different technology, or medical referral.

Comfort varies by area, settings, hair density, vessel type, and skin sensitivity. Many clients describe laser pulses as a quick snap, warmth, or brief sting. The Dynamic Cooling Device may support comfort by cooling the skin before laser pulses.

Downtime varies. Redness, swelling, warmth, bumps around follicles, darkening of pigment, bruising, crusting, or sensitivity can occur depending on treatment type. Sun, heat, hot tubs, and intense exercise may need to be avoided for 24–48 hours or as directed.

Hair reduction usually happens gradually over a series. Pigmentation may darken before flaking or fading. Vascular lesions and veins may darken, bruise, or fade over days to weeks. Results vary by concern and treatment response.

It may be sequenced with other treatments in selected cases, but combination planning is not automatic. Timing depends on the treatment area, skin barrier, recent sun exposure, healing, goals, and cumulative risk. Your provider will determine whether treatments should be separated or avoided.

Possible risks include redness, swelling, bruising, burns, blistering, crusting, pigment darkening, pigment lightening, scarring, infection, acne flare, cold sore flare, under-response, recurrence, or unsatisfactory results. Risks can be reduced with assessment and aftercare, but cannot be eliminated.
