Shave 24-48 hours before
Aim for closely shaved, intact skin without cuts or significant razor irritation.
Do not remove the root
Avoid waxing, plucking, tweezing, threading, sugaring, bleaching, or electrolysis before and during your laser series unless directed otherwise.
Avoid tanning
Avoid tanning beds and self-tanner and tell us about recent sun exposure, tanning, or sunburn before treatment.
Arrive with clean skin
Do not apply lotions, oils, fragrance, numbing cream, self-tanner, or other products to the treatment area before your appointment.
After your appointment
Avoid excess heat
Avoid hot tubs, saunas, steam, very hot showers, and intense workouts for about 24-48 hours or as directed.
Reduce friction
Loose clothing may feel more comfortable. Avoid aggressive rubbing, scratching, or scrubbing while the area is sensitive.
Skip harsh actives
Avoid exfoliating acids, retinoids, scrubs, and other irritating products until your skin has settled or your provider says to restart.
Watch your skin
Contact Sparkle if you develop blistering, open skin, severe or worsening pain, increasing redness, unusual swelling, drainage, or pigment changes.
Temporary redness, warmth, sensitivity, or swelling around follicles can occur. Your provider will explain what is expected for your treatment and when a reaction should be assessed.

How many Brazilian laser hair removal sessions will I need?
Laser hair removal requires repeated treatments because hair grows in cycles and not every follicle is in the same growth phase at the same time. Many Sparkle clients complete a structured series, but your recommended number and spacing are individualized.
Results vary. Over time, treated areas may show less visible hair, lower density, slower regrowth, and finer remaining hair. Hormonal changes and new growth can affect long-term maintenance, so touch-up treatments may be recommended for some clients.
